Ebastine Tablets
Ebastine belongs to a family of antihistaminic drugs. It is the most effective medication available in the market at the moment. Ebastine Tablets are used to treat various allergy symptoms like itching, swelling, sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, skin rashes, redness of the eyes, etc. Ebastine works by blocking the effects of the chemical messenger responsible for these symptoms.
Side-effects of Ebastine Tablets
Being an effective medication it offers some side-effects too which are for short period and goes away whenever the course is completed. Here are some side-effects that can be felt:
- Headache,
- Dry mouth,
- Drowsiness,
- Abdominal pain,
- Nausea,
- Indigestion,
- Nosebleed,
- Weakness, etc.

Precaution:
Ebastine tablets are much effective and they can show results within 2-3 hours of administration of the dose. As the effectiveness is high so should be taken with some precaution that includes:
- Consumption of alcohol while taking this tablet is not recommended.
- Ebastine is not prescribed in case of pregnancy or women is breastfeeding unless essential.
- Drowsiness and sleepiness can be experienced so don’t do any concentration-required work.
- Patients having any liver disease history should talk to the doctor about the same.
